Acting as a sub-contractor on a larger engagement, Chris was responsible for assessing the competitive landscape in this region. His contribution formed part of a broader project for a client already supplying technology to the data centre sector. Although the client had begun aligning its offering with emerging market trends, it required a more detailed and structured analysis to determine priority areas for investment and to refine its go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

At the outset, Chris conducted a structured review of the North American market, examining key suppliers, routes to market as well as the strategies and tactics being deployed across what is a large and highly competitive supply base.
